6. Changes to Purpose of Use

If we change the purpose of use of personal information, we will do so only within a scope reasonably related to the original purpose, and we will notify users or publish the updated purpose through the Service.

7. Sharing, Outsourcing, and Joint Use

7.1 Third-Party Sharing

We do not provide personal data to third parties except in the following cases:

  • With the user's consent
  • As required by law
  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property
  • When especially necessary for public health or the sound development of children
  • When cooperation with public authorities is required

7.2 Service Providers and Contractors

We may outsource certain operations to third-party service providers, including:

  • Cloud infrastructure, APIs, and hosting
  • Authentication systems
  • Push notification delivery
  • In-app payment processing
  • AI generation, AI safety operations, and analysis support
  • Customer support, incident analysis, and security operations

In such cases, we will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over those service providers.

7.3 Examples of External Services

The Service currently uses or may use external services such as:

  • Google LLC / Google Sign-In
  • Google Firebase, including authentication and push notification-related functions
  • Apple Inc., including Sign in with Apple and App Store billing infrastructure
  • Google Play billing infrastructure
  • Google LLC / Google Gen AI SDK (Gemini API)

Actual integrations may change based on implementation and operations.

7.4 Joint Use

If we engage in joint use of user information with affiliated entities or partners, we will separately disclose the categories of data, the scope of joint users, the purpose of joint use, and the party responsible for management, as required by law.

8. Cross-Border Transfers

We may transfer or allow the processing of user information outside Japan in connection with cloud hosting, authentication, notifications, AI processing, or related operational support.

Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps such as consent collection, disclosure, contractual safeguards, and other lawful measures.

Users acknowledge that information may be provided as necessary to the following categories of entities:

  • Authentication and notification platform providers
  • Cloud hosting providers
  • AI-related providers
  • Customer support or security support providers

Information required by law regarding destination countries, local privacy frameworks, and protective measures may be provided at the time of consent, in a supplemental notice, or upon user request.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Because the Service is primarily provided as a mobile app, we may use local storage, secure storage, SDK identifiers, notification tokens, and similar technologies instead of or in addition to traditional browser cookies.

These technologies are used mainly for:

  • Maintaining login status
  • Saving onboarding progress and user settings
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Notification delivery
  • Optimizing user experience

At present, our policy is not to use cross-app tracking for behaviorally targeted advertising as a primary purpose. If we introduce such tracking in the future, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law and platform rules.

10. AI Feature Provisions

The Service may generate advice, predictions, summaries, and other content using astrology-related logic, statistical tendencies, user-provided information, and AI models.

By using the Service, users understand and agree that:

  • AI outputs are probabilistic and may not always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a user's specific circumstances
  • AI outputs are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice
  • We may review, log, or have service providers process AI-related inputs and outputs for safety improvement, quality control, misuse prevention, and model evaluation
  • Users must not input third-party personal information, confidential information, or unlawful content into AI features without proper authority

Before personal data or sensitive data is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing, we will clearly disclose the purpose of use, the categories of data sent, the recipient, and obtain explicit user consent where required by law or platform rules.

For Google-based AI infrastructure used through the Google Gen AI SDK, the more relevant external Google reference is the Google Cloud Privacy Notice and applicable Google Cloud contractual terms, rather than the consumer-facing Gemini Apps Privacy Hub.

11. Social Features and Public Content

Information that users voluntarily post or make visible through community features may be viewable by other users.

To protect users, enforce rules, prevent unlawful activity, and preserve community quality, we may review content and take actions such as filtering objectionable material, hiding, removing, receiving reports on, blocking abusive users, or restricting access to posts or accounts.

12. Data Security

We take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data. These measures may include access controls, authentication management, protection of stored information, protection of communications, permission management, vendor oversight, and incident response procedures.

However, no internet transmission or information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not warrant absolute security.

13. Accuracy and Retention

We will endeavor to keep personal data accurate and up to date within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.

Retention periods are determined based on factors such as:

  • The period necessary to provide the Service
  • The period necessary for account administration, identity verification, and support handling
  • Legal retention obligations
  • The period necessary for billing, audits, dispute handling, and fraud prevention

Even after account deletion, certain information may be retained for legal compliance, audits, disputes, security, or backup management.

14. Data Breach Response

If a leak, loss, damage, or other incident involving personal data occurs and there is a significant risk to user rights and interests, we will take action in accordance with applicable law, which may include reporting to authorities and notifying affected users.

15. Children's Privacy

The Service may be accessible to minors. If a minor provides personal information or uses the Service, the minor must do so with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian.

If we determine that a minor's personal information was collected without required guardian consent, we may take appropriate measures, including restricting the account or deleting relevant information.

16. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request:

  • Notice of the purpose of use
  • Disclosure of retained personal data or third-party provision records
  • Correction, addition, or deletion of personal data
  • Suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision

To make such a request, please contact us using the details in Section 19. We may verify identity before responding and may deny requests where permitted by law.

17. Withdrawal and Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the methods provided in the Service.

Following account deletion, login credentials, device-side tokens, in-app stored data, and related information may be deleted or invalidated in due course. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, billing, dispute handling, fraud prevention, audits, or backup integrity.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy due to legal changes, service updates, security reasons, or other reasonable operational needs.

If changes are material, we will notify users through in-app notices, notifications, email, or another appropriate method. Continued use of the Service after such changes may be treated as acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
